Either you love fashion, or you hate it, or you don't understand it. I'm torn between loving it and scratching my head over how ridiculous designers are when they try to "up the ante".
Fashion High Heels
We've seen fashion take such a drastic turn when it comes to men's fashion - like men wearing pink, men wearing skirts, men wearing flowers, men wearing makeup and now men wearing heels! In an old blog entry I talked about such painful and terrible things that have come up so far in men's fashion.
As women we have so much power in this world and we always have to show it. But one thing that has always worked for us is our beautiful breasts, beautiful legs and how we can walk on water in heels.
Now we have men who want to compete with us in heels! Yes, I am aware that this is a completely new generation and I always accept abnormal and ridiculous things, but it is annoying and hateful that men want to dress like women. I don't understand it, and if you do, please comment below and educate us.
Style Men Love
Luke Nero, a promoter of the Mr Black club in Los Angeles, told the New York Times: "Yesterday I went to a party in a loft, and there was a guy in regular shorts, a regular tank and very warm red shoes. That was it! Everyone said: "Oh my God, I love those shoes!" Really nobody cares about a straight man or a gay man in high heels? Really!?
That worries me a little too. Why do men feel the need to steal our style? Women are always depressed when it comes to wanting to feel and look younger, could this happen to men too? The need to outshine the next man in order to be more fashionable and handsome? That's a thinker!
I want to date a man, not a man I have to fight over who wears pink size 13 heels or who fights over who wears all my black eyeliner. If I wanted to, I could also go out with a woman. I hate these men in heels... Absolutely not, but please go dress up in your jeans and men's shirts and let us be the pretty ones.
